Melissa and Anthony

Melissa really didn't know how to tell me what she wanted for her invitation. We talked about a simple ornament and she picked a few that she liked. But her emails suggested that she really didn't know what she wanted. She then sent me a very simple table number that she loved. When I asked her if she could tell me why she liked it, her response was that she loved how simple it was and that the font was in all lower case.

Taking this as my cue, I created this invitation that was nothing like we discussed, but perfect for Melissa on the first try. All lower case and a ton of white space at the top, these are minimal in their style, but just so striking. I highlighted the location with dots and opted to leave off Illinois - everyone know where Chicago is - right?
