Gourmet Invitations was named "Best Invitations" by NBC 4 Detroit

In the summer 2007, Gourmet Invitations was named "Best Invitations" by NBC 4 Detroit, as part of their annual "4 the Best List" contest. Many of Gourmet Invitations satisfied customers voted in the contest, which was a tremendous honor for owner/designer Tifany Wunschl. "I was so honored that my past, present, and future brides voted for me," Wunschl said. "The wedding industry is a tough one. There are so many companies out there, and learning how to find clients is very difficult. I owe the success of my business to brides that not only honor me by purchasing my invitations to represent their weddings, but to the brides that then tell other brides about my business."

Gourmet Invitations Launches Custom Seating Charts to Accompany Award-Winning Invitation Line

Detroit, MI - "Your wedding cake doesn't come from a box; why should your invitations?" With that sound logic in mind, brides with a taste for handmade, artfully crafted invitations have flocked to Gourmet Invitations' owner Tifany Wunschl since 2002. Now, the winner of NBC Detroit's "Best Invitations" honor is adding handmade seating charts to her portfolio of paper goods, which also includes save-the-date cards and magnets, place cards and table tents, menus, and programs.

"Anything goes on the seating chart - monogram, menus, bridal party, poems, pictures and thank you's," says Wunschl, who is booked for invitation orders until January 2009, but is accepting custom seating chart orders for weddings throughout 2008 and beyond.

Replicating everything from an intricate wedding gown detail to the Chicago skyline, Wunschl has worked one-on-one with hundreds of brides to ensure that their invitations reflect–if not set–the theme and tone for each wedding. That dozens of Chicago brides look beyond the Windy City's invitation vendors to work with Detroit-based Wunschl is one of many ringing endorsements for the designer–and clients from South Carolina, Florida, New York, California, and Texas have followed suit. Reasonable pricing is another of Gourmet Invitations' hallmarks, as Wunschl will often ask a bride for a budget and work to stay within the confines of that number.
