There is something so romantic about an ampersand on an invitation. Just what is means … “AND” says it all. Megan wanted a calligraphy ampersand design made of tiny calligraphy swirls and we designed a stunning work of art. The invitations we so thick and we edge painted them gold. All of the inserts were made of the same natural fiber cardstock and printed with metallic gold ink.
The calligraphy ampersand was the first thing that guests saw. We designed this gold belly band and printed the ampersand white with their names and date.
Our favorite piece is the reception card. We placed the ampersand extra large and had it bleed off of the edges of the card with wording for the reception placed within the swirls. We are also in love with the after party invitation in combination with the accommodations where we worded it as “and for after the after party”.
