Thanksgiving Table Settings With Tisha Holman Events
Since Thanksgiving is this week, I am happy to share with you that I am so honored to have the incredibly talented Tisha Holman from Tisha Holman Events include Gourmet Invitations on her holiday table decorating segment on The Broadcast! This month she did one on Thanksgiving Table Settings. I supplied the place cards, acorn menu and the “I am thankful for” cards. Some of Tisha’s holiday table setting tips were:
– Instead of placing your food in the center of the table, set up a buffet somewhere else like in the kitchen– then create a table setting that will encourage conversation. Use low-centerpieces and florals so that guests can still see each other and interact.
– Have guests share a few things they are thankful for. Sometimes life has us so pre-occupied we can forget to stop and reflect on the blessings we have.
– Make dessert a part of the table decor! Mini desserts are a great way to add something sweet to the table, and then guests don’t even have to get up when it’s time to enjoy!
